Hey everybody, how's it going. Today we're gonna be going over the Westin truck bed mat here in a 2020 Toyota Tundra crew max. So this is what our bed mat is gonna look like installed in our truck bed here. So this is actually a custom bed mat, and what that means is everything is gonna be molded and cut to specifically contour the inside shape of your bed here, so this does a couple different things. Number one, it not only makes for the best overall looking truck bed mat, it's also gonna cut down on that potential for the mat to slide around. With some of those universal ones, you can sort of get a good fit, but you do have to trim. more

The first thing you determine before you get a bed mat is what do you use the back of your truck for Do you use it because you carry wood, stuff that may damage or slide around in the back of the truck I would go with more of a rubberized one. If you use it for more like luggage because you travel a lot, I would go with more of a carpeted one. You have rubber ones like this that are very thick rubber and what they do is they hold everything in place. more

Now this mat is custom fit for the truck bed of your Toyota Tundra. Now you can see how it lines the contours of our truck bed very nicely at the corners, at the wheel wells, just to make sure it's covered as much of the bed as possible. And this is going to be a really nice solution to protecting your truck bed from any type of dents or dings or scratches or anything like that, but not only your truck bed, maybe even some items you throw in there. This truck bed mat is going to do a great job of protecting it is so if you have luggage or something like that, you're tossing in the inside, you definitely don't want this spray-in bed liner scratching up your luggage, especially if you're traveling a lot.This is going to be a 3/8 of an inch thick, narrow cord construction. more

Now, if you don't have a spray-in bed liner in your truck and you just have bare paint, you can already see on the tailgate, once we start using our truck, it's going to start scratching it up. And even under our mat, you can see that our truck has definitely been used and it's definitely causing a lot of scratches. Some of them are actually pretty deep. But our DeeZee mat not only is going to prevent those scratches, but it's also going to prevent our cargo from shifting around. more

Now, whether you use your truck for work or you drive it every day just as a commuter car, if we end up putting anything in the bed of our truck, it can scratch it, especially if we don't have a liner in there.But a lot of us have these bed mats like we have here, but that helps the bed, but it doesn't protect anything on our tailgate. So we can get a lot of different scratches or even possibly dings on there, not to mention our cargo can be sliding around back and forth. Our Deezee mat is going to protect the tailgate and keep our cargo from moving around too much. It's just going to extend that coverage from the bed mat onto your tailgate.Not to mention, our tailgate mat is going to make life a lot easier on our knees. WeatherTech TechLiner Truck Bed Mat Installation - 2016 Toyota Tacoma- Video

Today on our 2016 Toyota Tacoma we'll be taking a look at the WeatherTech Techliner custom truck bed mat in black. Part number WT37415. Our truck bed liner is made out of a tough thermoplastic construction to ensure durability and flexibility. The mat contours perfectly to our truck bed and has a nonskid surface. The Techliner is UV resistant and won't crack or break in cold weather. Now that we've gone over some features, we're going to show you how to get this installed. It may be a good idea to get an extra set of hands just to help you put it in to your truck bed. For demonstration purposes we did not use the adhesives, but if you lift up the underside of your mat, you'll see hook and loop spots with adhesives. You would clean off your truck bed, peel off the backing, set down your hook and loop, and secure your mat in to place. The Techliners are quick and easy to clean. more
